1. What Wiper is
Wiper is a general-purpose watermark and logo editing tool that runs entirely in your web browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers. Wiper is not affiliated with Google or any other third party.
2. Acceptable use — your responsibility
You may use Wiper only on content you created or for which you hold the rights to edit (for example, your own photos and videos, or licensed material whose licence permits modification). Removing watermarks, copyright-management information, or attribution from other people’s copyrighted work may violate copyright law (including provisions such as 17 U.S.C. §1202 in the United States and equivalent laws elsewhere) and is strictly prohibited. You are solely responsible for how you use this tool and for any consequences of that use.
3. Scope of the tool
Wiper edits visible logos and overlays only. It does not target, detect, or alter invisible provenance watermarks (such as SynthID) embedded in AI-generated media; those remain untouched in your files.
4. No warranty
Wiper is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Results depend on your content: semi-transparent marks can usually be reversed cleanly, while opaque marks on complex backgrounds may leave visible traces. We make no guarantee of fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wiper and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this tool, including any legal claims resulting from your use of it on content you do not have rights to.
6. Changes
These terms may be updated; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
